Best co-working office in Stockholm

If you’re a freelancer or if you run a small/medium sized business you probably are or if not, you are probably thinking about moving into a co-working office. And that’s great! I recently worked a couple of months in Sweden at a lovely co-working office or “Kontorshotell Odenplan” as they call it, which I personally would recommend to anyone interested.

This post is more of a relaxed review of what I experienced during my stay at DG97 last year. And just to give you an overview of who I am, I’ve traveled all over the world and stayed at hundreds if not thousands of offices all around the world during the last 10 years.

Let’s begin!  During my very first day at the office, I was greeted by the friendly staff at the office. They gave me a quick look around and talked to me about the area, what they offer and how they compare to the other offices in the area. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me that the contract was only a 2 months binding contract which is very unusual for such an office. The office itself is very clean, tidy and modern with a lot to offer, everything from electric bikes to travel around the city to ergonomic chairs which definitely is needed during long hours of work.

Another thing I really enjoyed about the office was the meeting room which holds up to 10 people at a time with everything needed inside, whiteboards, chairs, AC and more! I normally don’t hold in-person meetings but I knew I had a customer in the area so I couldn’t wait to get to use the room.

When it came to the pricing I can’t really complain since it was a very central location in Stockholm. I can’t remember what I paid for my private office during the 2 months but it was nearly nothing compared to what I was initially ready to pay.

Overall this office is definitely in my top then co-working offices all around the world, and not because of its super duper modern and has everything that let’s say a WeWork office would offer but it felt personal and I could really tell that the owner was such a genuine and passionate person and he was willing to implement new features that guests would suggest or ask for. If you ever need an office in Stockholm, definitely checkout DG97!
